The new fire sign should be located on the back side of the road right of way.  It may be attached to a power pole if it is located near the driveway.  It should not be attached to the mailbox since winter snow plowing could bend or break the sign. 

It is the responsibility of the property owner to maintain their fire sign and place it in a spot that is visible for all emergency personnel.

Signs will be ordered for everyone who has not already purchased their new sign.  Your address needs to be clearly visible for emergency vehicles.  The cost remains at $12.00 if paid by December 31, 2008.  If you need help installing your sign, please contact any Town Board Member.  Thanks to all of our residents who have already ordered, installed and paid for their signs.
